One surprise: The model is high on Denny Hamlin, even though he’s an 11-1 long shot in the final NASCAR All-Star race in 2023. He is a target for anyone looking for a big salary. Hamlin is two weeks removed from a NASCAR win at the Kansas race on May 7.
He has finished in the top five in three of his last five races and is fourth in the NASCAR Cup Series standings. He also finished second in last year’s All-Star race and has the experience to go up against Sunday’s field. And a big shocker: Joey Logano, one of Vegas’ best players at 8-1, gets hurt big time and barely makes the top 10. He won the 2016 NASCAR All-Star Race, but his form this year has not been high.
